Fasil's Fillet Road Bike

Fasil wanted a light fast bike that would be comfortable and sporty. We built a no nonsense fillet brazed road frame paired to a carbon fork. The s-bend seat stays add a graceful line to the frame. A compliment of all blue Chris King parts (we added a bottom bracket after the photoshoot) add a touch of excitement to the subdued silver paint. Corsa Concepts laced their rims up to a pair of Chris King's R-45 hubs for a durable lightweight wheelset, and Shimano Ultegra was chosen for it's positive shifting and serviceability. This is a bike that just begs to be ridden. When Fasil got back from his first ride this is what he had to say:

First real road ride with the machine today.....all I have to say is AMAZING! Went out with a friend and we decided to do some climbing.....my arch nemesis Newberry Hill was the first climb...I have to say I know that hill like the back of my hand and the bike is so good in the climbs...light, nimble, very responsive....felt so great climbing the first switchback, I didn't listen to my legs and just punched through the first couple of turns of course this didn't last long..but I ended at the top of climb with a big smile on my face which is usually not the case. We ended doing a loop and climbed up Old German Town road on the way home...and got to test the handling of this new ride on the German Town road descent.....let me say this bike holds a line like no other I've ever owned. Felt very confident in the saddle of this bike and for good reason. I'm so glad I gave you guys a call on this project. Thanks for the hardwork and a bike I'll own the rest of my life.
