Mac's Cyclocross Bike
Mac came to us looking for a steel bike that could be raced cross, but would likely be mostly used as a road bike. He was interested in buying a bike made locally. We used Columbus tubing to build a fillet brazed frame and incorperated a extended seat mast design with an internally expanding Thomson seatpost. The post was made by our friend Brett Flemming of Efficient Velo Tools and it pretty trick. Navy Chris King components compliment the light blue paint and add to the made in the Northwest pedigree of the bike. We used top of the line Dura-Ace components and even built a matching stem with internal cable routing for the Paul cantilever brakes. It is a beautiful bike, but it has seen it's fair share of mud since Mac took delivery of it. As it should.
